Social Gatherings
What’s the fun of attending so many awesome sessions if you can’t hang out with the other attendees and talk about and expand on what you learned? We look forward to getting to know you so we hope you’ll be able to join us for a few social and networking events.
Thursday Night
If you’re in town, and looking for something to do, we hope you’ll join us at Lagerhaus 95 for the WPCampus welcome party from 7-10 p.m. We’ll buy everyone a drink and provide light hor d’oeuvres.
View the menu for the venue.
Friday Night
There is no organized social event for Friday so we hope, after Friday’s sessions end, you’ll enjoy dinner with some new friends and explore the city.
on the conference map if you’d like some recommendations.
Saturday Night
We have one amazing word for you: KARAOKE! After the day’s sessions, we’re looking forward to grabbing dinner with more friends and then heading down to The Expo to sing our favorite Bon Jovi songs. Hope you can join us for some fun-filled karaoke before the curtain falls on a great weekend. If karaoke isn’t your thing, The Expo also has a barcade! We’ll get started at 7 p.m. and go until we’ve sung our hearts out.
We’ll buy everyone a drink and provide light hor d’oeuvres. The venue has food vendors that will serve dinner until 8 p.m.
Things To Do In Buffalo

The Weather Forecast
It doesn’t get too warm in Buffalo in the summer. The average high for mid-July is the low 80s with the low in the 60s. Chances of rain look pretty good so you might want to bring an umbrella or rain coat.
Attire
- Dress at the conference is business casual — with a strong emphasis on the “casual.” Jeans and T-shirts will be just fine.
- Session rooms may be chilly, so you may want to bring a sweater or dress in layers.
Lend A Hand?
WPCampus is a community event and we welcome anyone who’s able to lend a hand. Please let us know if you’d like to help out at the event. We’d really appreciate it.
If you’re going to be around Thursday afternoon, we’ll be stuffing swag bags and hanging out at the venue, Canisius College Science Hall, starting at 2 p.m. Our phone number is on the contact page if you need to reach someone for more information.
